May 3, 2024 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC). Since its inception, the CPAFFC has been committed to enhancing mutual understanding between peoples from different countries. Chinese President Xi Jinping, also General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, has, on many occasions, called for strengthening exchange and mutual learning and forging closer bonds between peoples. The CPAFFC, on behalf of the Chinese people, will continue making friends and deepening friendship within the international community, and working for the cause of human progress and solidarity.
